It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only about five weeks away. It seems like the older I get the faster it goes. Here are a few things I’m doing to earn extra cash while ordering my Christmas gifts online. I did this the last few years and last year I was able to get my son a free year of Xbox Live Gold.
Swagbucks – I print off coupons from this site, which they are from coupons.com, and I earn 10SB for each one I use. I also will order online and always make sure I go through the site to get an extra percentage back. You can also watch videos. Do surveys. Also if you set swagbucks as your default search engine, you can get SB just by searching.Depending on how much time you invest will depend on how much you get. As of today I have 7370SB which is equivalent to $73. You redeem SB with gift cards or my case, my son’s Xbox live gold.
Ebates – If you just want to sit back and just shop online then Ebates is good for you. You get real cash back. Right now I have $7 pending. They either send out checks or right to your PayPal account every three months as long as your balance is over $5.01, if it’s under then it gets rolled over to the next cycle.
I have been with both of these sites for a while, but just in the past few years I’ve used them more. As my son has gotten older, his tastes have gotten more expensive and as a single parent with one income it can be rough.
