So by now most of you have heard about Punky Brewster on Peacock TV. I so say, it’s really good. Especially since I grew up with the original Punky Brewster show back in the early 80s. It was the first show I could really relate too.
Young Punky Brewster is abandoned with her dog, Brandon, in a supermarket. When she befriends Henry Warnimont, her new family life begins. If you haven’t watch the original, I suggest you do. That is also streaming free on PeacockTV as well. There’s four seasons. I’m watching it again, and I don’t remember all of them. I was also 4 when the show originally came out. Just over the last few day, I binge watched the first season.
I’m only up to season 2 and already have seen a young Candace Cameron Bure, Chad Allen, and Peter Billingsley. I guess growing up I always wanted Punky’s sneakers.
So take my advice, if you’ve never watched the original, head on over to PeacockTV and watch. Being a foster child myself, this is how I always felt while in the system.
