Locke & Key has been sitting in my Netflix queue for the longest time. I kept saying, I’ll get to it. Well with nothing else better to do, I finally watched it over the weekend. When I say, watched, I mean yes I binged the entire first season. Yes, there’s only 10 episodes but still. They were amazing. There is…
Hershey's "Perfectly Chocolate" Chocolate Cake
I absolutely love this chocolate cake recipe. I have been making this for the past 6 years for my mothers birthday. It’s super moist, but always goes good with a tall glass of milk. I usually do the bunt, because my cakes usually come out ugly as sin. This is an easy recipe. I do have to say, it tastes…
Rootbeer Float Protein Shake
So being in quarantine for two weeks, I started getting a little creative. I’ve been going through Pinterest to kill some time. I kept seeing protein shakes. The only Rootbeer float one called for premier protein shakes, which I do not have, but I do have Lite protein powder. So figured to experiment a little. Hopefully we won’t all be…
Easy Pork Dumplings
Since being stuck home, I have put my cooking skills to work. I also made my 16 year old son help out as well. He’s doing culinary in school, so I need to make him to a little work. These came out amazing. Definitely a keeper, so I figured I would share the two recipes I used. First, making the…
Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan
I love chicken parmesan. Since the weather was cold and nasty, I decided to make some marinara sauce as well. There’s nothing better than your own homemade sauce. I’m going to do another post about the simple marinara sauce I make. It takes a total of 1 and a half hours to make, but on with the meal. I had…
Instant Pot Oreo Cheesecake
This was the perfect non guilty cheesecake. It wasn’t heavy and it wasn’t so much that it went to waste. My son loved it. I’m going to need to make it again. Recipe is inspired from Sweet and Savory Meals.

Buffalo Chicken Dip
I love buffalo chicken dip, but the majority of recipes I see use canned chicken, which is gross. I tried it one time. So this time I made it, I used real chicken breasts. I cooked it in my slow cooker on high for 6 hours, the breast were frozen. I added chicken broth to it as well.
Instant Pot Chicken Teriyaki Bowls
I have made this a couple times, my son loves it. We usually never have leftovers and it’s so easy to make. He helps me cut up the veggies. He needs the practice, since he wants to go to culinary school. If you haven’t gotten yourself an Instant Pot, you should. It’s a lifesaver. I originally found this recipe from: Tastes Better From Scratch.
